Allie Conti is a writer and journalist based in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from the University of Florida and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, she spent two years covering South Florida for the New Times. In 2014, she returned to New York to work at VICE, where she’s currently the senior staff writer.
She was previously the author of a column about her life in Florida and still writes one, albeit sporadically, about finance. Besides those topics, she tends to cover the changing concept of community, labor, technology, and health.
